Ken's Spaghetti Sauce (x1.5 scale)

My dad's simple spaghetti sauce

Scale: x0.25 | x0.5 | x1 | x1.5 | x2 | x3 | x4

This is probably not exactly the recipe my dad made for us as kids but it's what it has involved into now.

  • 2.25 lbs (1.021 kg) ground beef
  • 6 cups canned whole tomatoes
  • 1.5 large can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cans tomato paste
  • 3 large onions, chopped and loosely packed
  • 1.5 green bell pepper
  • 4.5 stalks of celery, chopped and loosely packed
  • 3 (12 g) cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp, 1 12 tsp brown sugar
  • 1.5 bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp, 1 12 tsp oregano
  • 1 12 tsp dried thyme
  • 1.5 can mushrooms

Put all ingredients into large pot

Let simmer for about an hour or more, stirring occasionally
