My mother-in-law's spaghetti sauce recipe.
Maureen's Spaghetti Sauce
- 0.5 0.5 onion
- 1 lb 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
- 0.5 0.5 onion
- 1 lb 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
Brown beef with onions in large saucepan.
- 0.25 0.25 can tomato paste
- 0.25 0.25 can tomato paste
Add tomato paste and cook another minute or so.
- 1 1 can stewed whole tomatoes
- 0.5 0.5 can tomato sauce
- 0.5 0.5 chicken bouillon cube
- 1⁄2 tsp 1⁄2 tsp Clubhouse brand Italiano spice mix, to taste
- 1⁄2 cup 1⁄2 cup (120 g) water
- 1 1 can stewed whole tomatoes
- 0.5 0.5 can tomato sauce
- 0.5 0.5 chicken bouillon cube
- 1⁄2 tsp 1⁄2 tsp Clubhouse brand Italiano spice mix, to taste
- 1⁄2 cup 1⁄2 cup (120 g) water
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, bouillon cubes, water, and spices, and simmer to reduce liquid to desired consistency.
