Beat in order, adding ingredients one at a time

• 1 Tbsp 1 Tbsp (13 g) baking powder

• 4 ¹⁄₂ cups 4 ¹⁄₂ cups (553 g) all-purpose flour
• 1 Tbsp 1 Tbsp (16 g) baking soda

Sift together and add to liquid mixture

• 2 cups 2 cups (470 g) water, boiling

Fold in boiling water

Place mixture in two prepared, round 9” cake pans.
