A simple equal-parts soy sauce and vegetable oil dressing shaken with green onion, garlic, and ginger for spooning over basmati rice.
This is a quick, customizable rice seasoning sauce made by shaking equal parts vegetable oil and low-sodium soy sauce with chopped green onions, garlic, and ginger. What makes it special is how fast it comes together (no cooking) while delivering a big savory, aromatic punch that instantly upgrades plain basmati rice. Serve it with weeknight rice bowls, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or anytime you want an easy “drizzle-on” flavor booster. Tip: adjust the garlic and ginger to taste, and keep it in a tightly sealed jar so it’s easy to shake and pour; it stores well in the refrigerator for weeks.
For the rice I use Basmati.
Combine equal parts of vegetable oil and low sodium soya sauce then add chopped green onions, some garlic and ginger.
You can play with this if you like more ginger or more garlic.
