Green Bean Casserole

Creamy green beans, perfect for a holiday side dish

  • 0.5 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp (42 g) unsalted butter

Cook butter and onion

  • 2 Tbsp (15 g) all-purpose flour

Add flour, stir and cook. Remove from heat.

  • 1 tsp (2 g) black pepper
  • 1 tsp (6 g) salt
  • 1 tsp (4 g) sugar
  • 1 cup (230 g) sour cream

Stir in seasonings and sour cream.

  • 28 fl. ozs. (470 g) canned green beans

Fold in beans.

Place in lightly greased 2L dish.

  • 1 cup (110 g) grated cheddar cheese
  • 1⁄2 cup (39 g) corn flake crumbs

Cover with grated cheese and corn flake crumbs.

  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter

Sprinkle with dots of butter.

Bake for 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
