Chocolate Hot Fudge Sauce

Real hot fudge sauce, the kind that thickens on top of ice cream

  • 2 cups (400 g) sugar
  • 1 cup (93 g) cocoa powder

Mix sugar and cocoa.

  • 2 cups (650 g) corn syrup
  • 1 cup (240 g) 12% cream

Add corn syrup, cream, and mix. Bring to boil. Simmer 3 minutes.

  • 1⁄2 cup (110 g) unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp (10 g) vanilla extract

Stir in butter and vanilla.
