Chocolate Hot Fudge Sauce

Real hot fudge sauce, the kind that thickens on top of ice cream

  • 1⁄2 cup (100 g) sugar
  • 1⁄4 cup (23 g) cocoa powder

Mix sugar and cocoa.

  • 1⁄2 cup (160 g) corn syrup
  • 1⁄4 cup (61 g) 12% cream

Add corn syrup, cream, and mix. Bring to boil. Simmer 3 minutes.

  • 2 Tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter
  • 1⁄2 tsp (2 g) vanilla extract

Stir in butter and vanilla.
