Chocolate Hot Fudge Sauce

Makes 2 cups

Real hot fudge sauce, the kind that thickens on top of ice cream

  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 1⁄2 cup (47 g) cocoa powder

Mix sugar and cocoa.

  • 1 cup (320 g) corn syrup
  • 1⁄2 cup (120 g) 12% cream

Add corn syrup, cream, and mix. Bring to boil. Simmer 3 minutes.

  • 1⁄4 cup (56 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp (5 g) vanilla extract

Stir in butter and vanilla.
